A fun packed evening at Boys Brigade.
Nathan giving a talk which included a giant made out of cardboard boxes.

We were also busy making Mother’s Day presents.

Lovely presents.

Lunch at the ramblers retreat, then a little walk up Dimmingsdale valley with sally and Alfie.
Looking out over the mill pond.

Lovely 15m walk around Monsal Dale. Lots of water on the paths

The river was pretty full.
Ironic that we are told we could run out of fresh water within 25 years.

Enjoy playing my new tenor sax, but today got my old alto sax out to play it as well.
A fun session.

Off we went to the chip butty quiz at St Oswalds primary school with friends (Nik, Felicity, Ben and Faith.
A good time had by all. Came middle of the table, not bad.
I had forgotten about the joy/pain of sitting on children’s seats for a long time…
Finished the evening off with Nik & Ben coming back to our place for a whisky tasting session….
14 March 2019
Off to David’s to give him his birthday present (for tomorrow).
For the man who has everything it can only be ‘Lego’…

Darran has been staying with us since last Saturday, visiting friends and family around the area. Good time had by all. Now on his way back to Plymouth to see Anita & Evie who have been missing him.

As I was at football and sally was at her leaving do, Alfie stayed with friends plus their 4 children.
Picked him up this morning. A success, no eaten children, and the dog in one piece. Thanks Rachel & Nathan.

Today was Sally’s last day at work.
I suspect there was more talking than working as she says good bye to the council. She has worked 34 years in 4 different councils, that’s a long time.
Nice leaving do, a very sugary cake.

Now home and relaxing….
