Always like popping into this shop in Bakewell. It has some very unusual foods.

Not only cheese (never had sheep cheese).

Lots of different animals including squirrels, zebra, elk etc

Derby has played 3 home weekend matches. Won 1:0 against Rotherham, 1:1 today against Ipswich, and 5:1 win against Fulham. Guess which one I didn’t go to……

Why shouldn’t I pay?

Had my jabs for the holiday yesterday. 

Don’t like needles, but at least they didn’t hurt. What puzzled me was that the doctor didn’t charge me for them? Given the financial state of the NHS, why shouldn’t they ask people to pay for things for their holiday?

My son, Andrew rang up asking if we wanted to go for lunch. Had a lovely lunch at the Old Poets, Ashover, plus a few pints, sitting in the midday sun, looking over lovely countryside with a pint in your hand. What more can you ask for…..

Great time at Wembley – 7th time lucky?

Would the Rhino’s over come their jinx with the challenge cup. Last 6 finals have al been lost.

We made a mistake, we should have caught the train, but decided to drive. Traffic was really bad, took nearly 4 hrs to get to Stanmore before getting the tube. Good job we allowed enough time.

Attendance was 79,000 although a bit low wasn’t bad, and the atmosphere was great. Looks a bit dark, but it wasn’t.

Sally is the short one…

Tight game but the Rhino’s were ahead at half time 16:4.

We held on t win 23:10, which on balance was a fair result.

Celebrating afterwards, just see the cup held high.
