Off to Stoke tonight for the Stoke v Derby game.
Few pints with Bryan, Jon and my son. Great to be back in Stoke, friendly people.
The game wasn’t bad but ironically An ex Derby player scored to beat us 2:1
Lot of flak for Gary Rowett who left Derby to manage Stoke. They were throwing blow up snakes onto the pitch.

Lovely surprise on my walk to Leyburn. Walked through Castle Bolton and saw this lovely ruined castle. Shame is was closed.

Then the local bus back to Hawes.

Went for an early morning walk (07:00) in the Yorkshire Dales. Spot the lights in the houses in Hawes.

Off to Sheffield Wednesday v Derby game. Parked our Motorhome at Andrews then off for a few pints with Alan the landlord of the Brunswick.
Yet another average performance, yet they managed to come from behind and win 2:1
Then out for an evening meal with Andrew, Amie and her parents. Most enjoyable end to the day

Busy week.
Been driving the mini buses on two days, citizen advice meetings and work on the merger. Going well, but you do have to put a lot of work in.
Meeting with IT suppliers on how to use the new scheduling system at community transport. Brings back memories of dealing with suppliers. And a two hour budget meeting, great fun when our income is being squeezed.
Finally picked up 1000 leaflets to deliver, a lot of walking to be done to get the surveys out.
The box was surprisingly heavy.
How did I ever have time for work…..

Tried this beer, ‘peanut butter jelly porter’. It was horrible, will not have it again.
