On way to Cheddleton church (to check out for a wedding) we called at Cheddleton Flint museum in the lovely old village by mistake.

Worth a quick visit.

Game 6 and without a win. Leeds haven’t won at Derby for 13 years…. Today they won 2:1 scoring in the 88th minute. The game started at 12:05 (thanks Sky), which meant we were in the pub at 10….

On a positive nearly 30,000, which is impressive given the quality of the football.

Back from Keswick, I decided to get off the bus part way and walk to Seatoller. A lovely walk relatively easy except for one 50m scramble.

So when I got back I suggested to Sally she comes along on this walk which she agreed.

The scramble was the hardest she had ever done…. Really impressed, for someone with a fractured knee.

However the reward was a beer and a Magnum ice cream and I went back to pick the car up.

Decided to go to Keswick on the bus.

A pleasant on time journey.

A look around Kewwick market, then off for a walk. 

And the heavens opened as we started off walking, and after an hr we decided to head back for a nice dry cafe. Soon as we got there it stopped raining….. Typical.

Finished around Keswick, and headed back to the cottage at Seatoller. 

Better late than never, I decided to go for a quick walk at 15:40, a bit late in the day to head up Glaramara,    so only went part way up.

Lovely waterfall on the way up.

Stunning views despite being overcast.
