The consultation continues. Getting a steady stream of feedback. Enjoyable chatting to residents. The Makers Market was also on, a very pleasant morning.

Off for a cycle with friends.
Made a mistake…. Didn’t see the ‘no cycling’ sign when we entered cotton dell.
Very challenging terrain, only found out it was ‘no cycling’’ at the end.

Off to the Yeaveley Arms which holds a monthly vintage vehicle event.
Two friends were staying, so off on the tractors to yeaveley. Took us well over an hour to travel 9 miles!!! others were also travelling over an hour to get there.
Great event.

A lovely evening.

Arrived in Kendal about 20:00, so quickly up to Indie Craft Beer shop/pub. A great selection of beers and a very knowledgable owner.

Always enjoy my walking in the lakes.

Off to Cumbria to pick a tractor part up I got on eBay.
The sensible approach would have been to get them to post it. It’s big and heavy so would have cost around £60.
Plan B was to go up there and spend a few days up there. Cost £83 fuel. Accommodation £5 (stayed on a pub carpark – free, cricket ground £5). Car parking £2.80. Excluded food & drink as I would have had this anyway.
So net cost for a few days in the lakes £30. Not bad ??

Off to my sons new house for a spot of decorating. A 90 min drive then a long day decorating.
The good news is that my son is getting better at DIY ?
Feeling a bit tired, not had an easy day for at least 12 days… but enjoyed it.

Off for a walk with Kevin today. Not been out walking together for a while.
A lovely 15 mile walk from Monyash, to Tissington onto the Monsal trail and into Ashford in the water.
