First full day on the Cotswold with Alfie. Only downside back to the Motorhome mid afternoon for a council zoom mtg.

A nice walk down the Cotswold way.

Back on broadway for a cuppa at one of my favourite tearooms. huge choice of teas and real character.

Arrived in broadway in the dark. Not the best when you have to get set up. Water wasn’t a problem but had issues with the electricity. Eventually sorted.

Out with Cliff & Andy for a v pleasant walk around Ilam/Ashbourne.

Good walk had by all.

End of walk I headed off to The Cotswolds for a few days.

I had found an old landy I wanted to buy.

Sadly while the owner was on holiday thieves came with a low loader and stole 2 vintage tractors, 2 quad bikes, a landy I was hoping to buy, and a BMW.

Felt sorry for the man losing all that. Police said no need to rush back from holiday ‘we are not likely to catch them’ true but not tactful.

Looks like I will have to search for another.

Sadly couldn’t get tickets for the forest derby game. Maybe a good job as we lost 2:1.

Sadly sold my landy today.

I actually felt sad. I enjoyed this car despite its poor reliability and lack of comfort. Had the car (Clifford, named after the alarm company) for 6 years. Longest I have had one car.

Hopefully in a few weeks I hope to get another even older one ?

The car was so bad I just had to clean it. It only happens once/twice a year.

Out for a decent walk with Kevin. Starting at Monyash down deepdale to Ashford in the water, Bakewell, over haddon then back to Monyash.

Sadly the lovely cafe at Ashford was closed (for most of January).
