Went to Waitrose to get ingredients for a ‘drinks & nibbles’ evening. Service was second to none, although it did cost a fortune.

Attended my first Ashbourne Community Transport board meeting. Really interesting. Subject to the paperwork I am now one of their trustee’s.

Off to Preston on the bus and two trains. Picked Pedro up from the repairer after the warranty work has been done.

Sally hasn’t seen the grandkids for a while in part due to her working pattern. Today we are all over to see David Mary and the kids.

Lovely time, shame Aidan wasn’t around. I call it modern living getting everyone together at the same time is hard…..

A nice 20+ mile little stroll on St George’s day.

Started in Monyash, then Youlgrave, Birchover, Rowsley, Bakewell and Ashford in the Water before returning to Monyash.

Several cafe’s on the way.

Went through 9 Ladies circle, too small for my liking, I put my folded map against one of the stones… tiny.

Derby played Middlesbrough today. Yes again they played awful. Lost again. At the end of jan, we were in second place and going well.

Now we are playing like a relegation team.
