Son and grandkids off to Alton Towers. So Sally & I are joining them. Been a few years since I went and Sally has never been.

Great to have holy communion for the first time in several months as our church met again this morning.

Slightly strange but showing initiative the ‘bread & wine’ now come prepackaged. A small pot with the ‘wine’ and bread on top.

It shows the church is continuing although with my big fingers it was hard to open the pots.

Went down to Aylesbury in the week and bought another tractor. Number 3 has arrived today.

It was cold last night so I lit the log burner. Tonight sally was cold again so I put the heating on. I can’t remember putting the heating on in August ever.

Our little Volvo has done 100,000 miles.

Don’t really want to change it. It complements my old battered landy. Maybe we will keep it a few more years.

Yesterday I saw an impressive petrol off road mobility scooter.

Today the other extreme. I was walking along the Tissington trail and saw an electric Peak Park van on the trail.

Times have changed, they used to drive around in land rovers.

Is this the future for outdoor types?

Walking up the local trail I saw a couple, one of them on a mobility scooter. He had built a petrol driven go anywhere mobility scooter, well over 30 mile range. Far more powerful than the electric off-road mobility scooters you can get.

Not sure about stiles but impressed.

5hr return trip to Aylesbury to look at this tractor. Quite fancy a grey gold fergie. Bit of a trek.

Decision time. Cheap tractor but engine has seized so will either be a small project or a very big one to get it working.

Got to decide if I want to bid for it.
