My son and I took Alfie and Star for a walk around Ogston reservoir. Not done it for many years.

Shame the picture was into the sun.

Star is only 10 months but getting better each time I see her.

Another great night at Boys Brigade. One of our favourite nights, canoeing and swimming. Made extra nice by the lovely sunset.

Out with alfie in the rain. Tested out my new fleece from Paramo.

Held up pretty well given its a fleece. Really like Paramo system.

Another first, Aidan and I went to watch Derby County v Stoke. First time I have taken him to a match without his dad.

Great time had by all. Derby played brilliantly (for a change) and we won. Shame they announced we were going into administration……

Was tempted but at £10 a can for a 13% decided to give it a miss this time….

After our trip to keswick yesterday we decided to stop at a campsite near thirlmere. Ideal for popping up helvellyn.

Weather not good.

However we got up to the top.

Weather started to clear and Alfie was being observant…

Back to the Motorhome before 10 in time for a cuppa

Lovely walk up catbells. Nice picture of Alfie and the trig point.

Carried on and got down to the lake. Then I realised I had left his lead next to the trig point ?

So up again…. A first for me, up and down twice…. Idiot.
