Out canvassing and called in at denstone farm shop.

Interesting that things are happening most weeks.

I recommend visiting.

Lovely place to visit, although you do need to book at busy times.

Sadly it was a non drinking day.

Have to say zero alcohol beers have improved but still a long way to go.

Less than 5 days to go to my first election. Apprehensive but looking forward to it.

It isn’t quite as much fun delivering leaflets in the rain. At least the next few days are dry.

An interesting selection of beers I purchased.

Salted caramel stout, dandelion and burdock porter, creme bearlee(?), milk stout and chocolate stout.

Not your average beers.

Lovely trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park with my son and grandkids.

Definitely recommend the place, a few of the bigger animals in large enclosures and suitable play areas for the kids.

A good day out really enjoyed it.

Haven’t heard David play the piano since he was a kid. Lovely to realise he hasn’t lost his natural ability.

I always thought St George’s day was the 23 April, same as Shakespeare’s birthday.

However if it falls in the week either side of Easter Sunday it moves a week later.

You learn something new every day.

So this year St George’s day is on the 29 April.

We both gave up chocolate for lent.

More football, today derby v QPR.

Today 90 mins of pretty average/poor football 0:0. Then the ref gave us 9 minutes of extra time because of time wasting by QPR.

Suddenly we started playing and as if by magic we won 2:0, the 94th and 101st minutes. Great ending.
