On a walk from Monyash to Monsal Head, Ashford in the Water, Bakewell. Just outside Monyash a little dog joined me for 8 miles.
Managed to acquire a dog lead part way and in Bakewell called into the vets who checked his chip. So ‘Henry’s’ owners were called to pick him up and I continued on my way.
A lovely little dog.

Not 100% sure about the ‘Red Barrows’ bit weird 9 people running about with a wheelbarrow
Not seen camel racing before.
And it was nice to see some ‘big’ tractors. They compete in tractor pulling competitions

Vehicles at carfest – brill.
A lovely 1959 Bedford Motorhome, chatted to the owner, it has original gas lights.
Lots of VW’s
Even buses, steam engines and tractors.
