It has to be a bank holiday.
Today I have several issues with the Motorhome. Filled up with water and it starting dripping out of the tank.
The temperature gauge is playing up. Started the engine and it said ‘warning ice’ because it was registering 1c instead of 10c ?
Finally had a stone chip today and a crack has gone about 6 inches up the screen. Great, not at home…..

Tonight we are staying in a pub carpark in Failand. No issue who is driving tonight.
Sadly our choice of pub has had a busy bank holiday so they have run out of beer, and decent lager.
I had to settle for a bottle beer and Sally had an average lager.
On the positive side they did some good ‘pub grub’. I had liver & onion, never have it at home….. lovely

End of dog sitting, took Cosmo for a short walk and dropped him off at home at 8.
Alfie and Cosmo got on really well.

Dog sitting Cosmo, very well behaved and gets on well with Alfie.
Bedtime was a problem.
Plan A Cosmo downstairs on his bed, Alfie upstairs on the floor. Cosmo starts barking wants to be with Alfie.
Plan B Alfie downstairs in his bed with Cosmo. Alfie barks …
Plan C let them both roam the house. Then Sally can’t sleep..
Tired wife so I am up before 6 feeding them and taking them for a long walk this morning so Sally can sleep.

A strange beer. Siren’s Nitro White Stout.
Not convinced, nitro white stout. Rich chocolate and coffee notes intertwined with sweet liquorice, biscuity malts and creamy lactose. ?

Dog sitting for the next couple of days. Bit worried about taking Cosmo for a walk and not losing him (I like dogs off the lead).
After the walk they rested a little.

Sally and I both went shopping at the same time and bought home some chocolate.
Too much chocolate, a bit excessive.

Went for a walk from Middleton to Crich and back. A 12 ish mile walk. Not been to Crich for a couple of years.
The village centre has changed a bit. Most of the shops are still there except for the cafes. Used to have two now just one take away. Also the pharmacy has been replaced by an up market shop. A v nice restaurant also there now.
