When I worked at stoke, I was very evangelical about agile/paperless working.
Stoke made huge strides in this direction over the three years I was there.
One project I didn’t finish before leaving was the electronic post room. The idea being all correspondence is delivered to a single point, scanned and electronically delivered to the recipient.
I got a text last week to say that they have just had delivery of the big automated scanning devices and the main one is named after me. I roared with laughter on hearing this, and rather pleased.
Even better the backup device is named after my old boss,
Ie I do all the work, and he is just on standby 🙂
