A lovely walk around Rudyard lake. Can always recommend it, easy but enjoyable.

If you want a long walk I recommend walking around Rudyard and Tittesworth water.

Luckily a friend of my son invited both of us to Sheffield United hospitality suite to watch the Derby game.

Very enjoyable time, we even won.

Bit strange that we were inside watching the game through glass

A bit weird we were in the Tony Currie hospitality suite, in the Tony Currie stand , and Tony Currie was there having a meal with celeb’s from Coronation Street (who I didn’t know).

Men’s shed continues to grow. Starting several years ago in the back room of the church, we today have taken delivery of another container that will be fitted out to make another workshop.

It’s always an experience when they arrive on the back of a transporter.

Off to a trip around the Morgan car factory. Wonderful experience, nothing like a ‘normal’ car factory. No assembly lines, very little computer support, and all cars hand built including wooden frames.

What a wonderful experience. Would like one, but sadly unlikely to happen.

We don’t get invited to many weddings (about one a year). So looking forward to Adam & Emma’ s wedding.

Lovely day, even the weather was kind (for the time of the year).

A lovely couple, and I hope they have a long and happy marriage.

Picked up new electric car. This time decided to go for a little Volvo EX30.

Will take a little while to get used to the large iPad in the middle. Got just 15 miles on it, but we expect to be doing 20,000 miles per year.

The day has finally come, Our first electric car goes.

To be honest it has been a mixed experience. We have done over 65,000 miles in it. The running cost has been low, except for the large number of tyres we had to buy over the years.

Sadly I think it was a ‘Friday afternoon’ car, we did have so many little niggles, it took the edge off having my first (non company new car).

Annoyingly we had our largest bill a month before we got rid of it, which solved a lot of niggles. Shame we didn’t fix them earlier.

Off to the NEC Motorhomes show. Did do our homework before going, but hit with so many different options. Enjoyable show if somewhat tiring. I think I have found an improvement on our current one, but not convinced the increase in cost is actually worth it.
