Last boys brigade and a carol service. Played my saxophone. Went ok but much happier playing on my own not in public

Frustrated a bit everything we were planned to go has been cancelled/postponed. Missed out on concerts and tonight was going to be a beer & curry night.

So it was time to have one of my more unusual beers.

Cinnamon vanilla rice pudding imperial stout 10.4%. Unusual but surprisingly rich and very drinkable, but not too many.

My new electric car charger installed. Good quality job done. Not the cheapest….

Sadly still waiting for the electric car, no idea when it will arrive. Somewhat frustrating.

Out delivering Christmas cards on a tractor.

Dropped one off at a friends house and he ends up having a ride on the tractor.

I think from the smile that he enjoyed himself.

Out tonight for a walk and campfire with Boys Brigade. Weather kind to us.

Full day of council meeting, culminating in a 3 hr full council meeting in the evening. Eventually got home we’ll after 22:00….

Thanks to Covid we didn’t use the council chamber instead the large cold draughty room. To make it worse drinks aren’t provided and I forgot to bring mine with me.

Went to watch Glebe Symphonic wind band at Rocester church.

An excellent wind band that has won awards. The surprise is that they are based in Rocester and band members come as far afield as Manchester to rehearse.

Really enjoyable.
