Three BBQ’s in 4 days, the butcher was very happy.
Had a BBQ with friends on Thursday. Invited family over on Saturday for another BBQ Liz came but jimmy didn’t get the Friday text until Saturday morning so he thought ‘come tomorrow’ meant Sunday… so we had a BBQ on Saturday and Sunday.
Love BBQ’s and we had a great time but maybe 3 in 4 days is excessive….

Off to watch Birmingham v Derby. The weather was great, smooth bus and rail trip to Birmingham.
Met up with our Burton friends at two excellent pubs (the Wellington and one next door). Great beers and enjoying the sunshine.
Sadly we then went to the match. A 2:2 draw, poor defending and some questionable substitutions. Not won in the league this year.
Was stupid, decided with my son to run/jog back to the train station, at least 1.5 miles. Now got a sore heal….

Great time with Julie, Steve and Sophie. First bbq of the year, then relaxing indoors.
Alfie relaxed on Sophie’s lap, and spot the gin glass in front of sally….

Off to Thor’s cave with Sophie and Sally. Despite the terrain sally made it. Sophie enjoyed climbing in the cave.

Sadly because there wasn’t a single cafe in Masham that allows dogs in we went to theakstons brewery….it’s a hard life.
