I heard the sad news last night that Keith Roe passed away. 

He was head of maths at Highfields school for many a year, until his retirement a few years back. He was a great teacher, leader , and actively encouraged the pupils to have a better understanding of mathematics. 

I was also involved with Keith through my governor role, as you would expect, he maintained the highest level of integrity, a credit to the school.

A true gentleman and lover of mathematics.
