Alfie had his first jab this morning. Clean bill of health. However was expecting the bill to be £59, and it ending up being £79… I suppose that’s normal for vets.
Slightly disappointed was hoping to be able to take him for a short walk, had to settle for a coffee with him in a local pub.

Forgot what it was like to have a puppy, a bit like a baby but with sharper teeth and no nappies.

Great sermon on love today

Was in Edinburgh today (train from tweedbank).
Decided to call in at the parliament, sadly they were not in session.
Wow, went online while having a coffee in their cafe. The fastest Wi-fi I have ever used. I suppose I should have expected it….

On the Scottish news today. Apparently 38% of men in Scotland have criminal convictions. This seems really high.

One of those days. Walked up Eildon hill, which was fine until I walked down and because I was wearing old trainers with no grip, I slipped in the mud – ouch… should have worn my boots.
Sally under the weather so I went off to Edinburgh on my own (1.5m to the railway station). Stupid boy for the second time, I chose a pair of shoes I don’t normally wear, net result one blister, and fell over twice.
At my age I should know better.
