First outing

Alfie had his first jab this morning. Clean bill of health. However was expecting the bill to be £59, and it ending up being £79… I suppose that’s normal for vets.

Slightly disappointed was hoping to be able to take him for a short walk, had to settle for a coffee with him in a local pub.

Love – Great sermon

Great sermon on love today

‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres’.

1 Corinthians 13 4-7

Stupid boy

4 January 2018

One of those days. Walked up Eildon hill, which was fine until I walked down and because I was wearing old trainers with no grip, I slipped in the mud – ouch… should have worn my boots.

Sally under the weather so I went off to Edinburgh on my own (1.5m to the railway station). Stupid boy for the second time, I chose a pair of shoes I don’t normally wear, net result one blister, and fell over twice.

At my age I should know better.
