Sally busy with the sloe gin production.

A bit late this year, normally we give them away before Christmas. Should get over 5l worth. The ironic thing is we very rarely drink it, but it does taste nice.

Really enjoy playing my alto saxophone.

However following a chat with our plumber who also plays the sax, I had an impulse purchase and bought a lovely tenor saxophone.

I think sally might start playing the saxophone as well… I wonder how quickly she will overtake me.

Got the opportunity to go for a 10m walk this morning but had to be back for 1. So it was an early start and a very cold morning.

Once the sun was out it was beautiful.

Relieved it passed but with an increasing number of advisories.

We are in a real mess politically not knowing what’s going to happen in 72 days. In or out of Europe…

Prior to today’s prime ministers questions there will be a call ‘to ban low level letter boxes’ because posties are getting too many bad backs. I worked for the post office so I am sympathetic BUT it might be good to focus on the priorities.
